The Early Years of London's Ashkenazi Community by Rabbi Yossi Prager

Rabbi Joseph Prager (born Manchester, 1950) is a historian at the Institute for German-Jewish Heritage in Israel. Rabbi Prager and his wife Channa, who live in Modiin Illit, Israel, made Aliya in 1975. They have ten children (8 married), all living in Israel. It was nostalgia about his Anglo-Jewish background which caused him to take up Anglo-Jewish history as a hobby. This, his first published article on the subject, appeared in "Yerushaseinu", Fifth Yearbook, B'nei Brak, 2011. Rabbi Prager would be delighted to receive comments or to answer questions relating to the article. He can be contacted at Yossi.prager@gmail.com.
