In December 2012 Toy Drop, in conjunction with Project Chesed are going to be taking a container of gently used kids stuff to the Philippines to distribute to children who have never owned a teddy or pack of felt tips or book or football. Hard to imagine isn’t it?
Between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur as we turn thoughts towards Teshuva, Tefila and Tzedaka, we are collecting used items from the UK, and when distributing in the Philippines we will be taking lots of pictures and telling the children there all about you, the Benefactors. Any items you can donate will be shipped, tracked and delivered by us personally and we aim to send pictures showing your stuff with their new owners so you can see how happy you have made some children on the other side of the world.
I wish I could tell you how important an event the Toy Drop is in the lives of these children. It literally changes their world.
Please help us by bringing any gently used children’s items into the United Synagogue Centre, 305 Ballards Lane, Finchely, N12 8GB by 5th October, or email us at email@example.com for more information. If you require a different pick-up point, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 0773 0205758.
