The US Living & Learning department have partnered with JerusalemOnlineU.com to present a new documentary film called ‘Israel Inside - How a small nation makes a big difference’ in time for Yom Yerushalayim.
This superb film was created by JerusalemOnlineU.com, a Jewish learning website who regularly produce documentaries of Jewish interest. The film is available for United Synagogue and United Hebrew Congregation communities to show this coming Yom Yerushalayim, which coincides with Sunday May 20th 2012. The film is part of an international Israel education campaign orchestrated by JerusalemOnlineU.com, involving Jewish communities around the world. The film portrays many of Israel’s accomplishments and gives a fascinating explanation for why the success has happened.
A number of US Communities will be hosting events for Yom Yerushalayim and featuring the film as the main part of their events.
Rabbi Andrew Shaw, Director of US Living & Learning commented;
“The film is truly remarkable, one of the most inspiring films I have seen for a long time. It is a tremendous Kiddush Hashem and exactly the type of film we need to be showing our Kehillot at this time, I wish non jews could view the film as well! It will definitely provide a meaningful and innovative way to both commemorate and highlight Yom Yerushalayim in our communities.”
