Yom Hashoah
Shabbat, Festivals & The Year
In February, I visited Yad Vashem with Tribe “Jerusalem Experience” participants. We spent an emotional six hours there. Part of our visit was to the memorial square for the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. At the far end, where the official Yom Hashoah commemoration is held, are two adjoining memorials commemorating both the physical and spiritual resistance of Jews during the Holocaust.
