HGSS was 'on fire', literally, in what was the first ever Lag B’Omer bonfire and BBQ.

Accompanied by Rabbi Ephraim Levine, around twenty members of Watford shul visited Beth Shalom, the Holocaust museum in Nottingham established by two non-Jewish brothers who felt people in the UK were not being adequately taught about the horrors of those dark days.

On 26 March 2012, childcare students from West Herts College in Watford visited Watford shul on a tour of the town's places of worship. The visit was part of a module that focuses on respecting and understanding different faiths and cultures when caring for children.
