Supporting our members in times of need is vital. We do this through our Synagogue based US Community Cares Groups (USCC). Within these groups we have nearly 1,000 volunteers caring for the emotional and practical needs of our members. Whether it’s home or hospital visits, offering a listening ear or practical help for new mums, our Community Cares groups are making a huge difference to our members on a daily basis. While USCC is about our members reaching out to other members, Project Chesed is about assisting our members in other acts of loving kindness be that reaching out to the wider Jewish community or to the wider world in which we’re living. If you want ideas for practical chesed from donating items you are no longer using to potentially saving someone’s life, Project Chesed can help you. Click on the image above to find out more.
